THE LONGBOAT
KEY EDUCATION CENTER
NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT! BECOME A FRIEND NOW!
We have
continued to survive because our supporters have
never let us down! Buoyed by
your support, we have worked diligently to live
up to your expectations for over 25 years!
It is hard to believe that we could provide more
programs or be more creative, but I can
assure you that 2011-2012 will be the most
exciting season to date! We are even changing
to a larger format brochure in order to have the
space to list all the new programs!
We are not raising our membership prices. The
Friends membership perks will remain
incredibly appealing. The new and returning
programs listed on the back of this letter are
mere highlights of our new season. (If your
favorite teacher is missing, don’t worry, we may
not have contacted him or her in time for the
printing of this letter.)
•
FRIENDS GET FIRST CHOICE.
Friends (members)
receive our brochure by First Class Mail a full
month before non-members. This head start allows
Friends to register early and almost always get
first choice of popular programs.
•
FRIENDS PAY LESS.
Friends pay an
average of $10 less than non-member prices for
most programs. For the Full Series Lecture
Series, Friends save $60! Memberships at the
supporting level and above confer even more
savings, as the enclosed application card
explains. The Longboat Key Education Center is a
not-for-profit educational organization, so all
membership contributions are tax deductible to
the extent permitted by law.
•
FRIENDS GET CREDIT.
Friends
membership is also a form of cancellation
insurance. Only members are entitled to
apply for credit for registrations they have
cancelled.
All 2010-2011 memberships expire in July,
so become a Friend now to take full advantage of
all your membership benefits. Be among the first
to receive the 2011-2012 brochure and get first
crack at sought-after classes and programs.
Friends are the backbone of The Longboat Key
Education Center. Your support has allowed us to
continue offering a wide variety of excellent
programming in a well-equipped,
comfortable environment for over 25 years.
Thank you for being a Friend!
Sincerely yours,
Susan Goldfarb
Executive Director
P.S. Dear Canadians/Europeans: Due to the
prohibitive cost of postage to Canada and
Europe, only Canadians/Europeans who become
Friends will receive a brochure by mail.
