• Friends get first choice.  Each year brings greater demand for the limited spaces in our most popular courses.  Friends receive our brochure by first class mail three weeks before the slower, less reliable bulk mailing to non-members and almost a month before we accept non-member registrations.  Friends who take advantage of this head start by registering early almost always get their first choice of classes and programs.
   

• Friends pay less.  Tuition for Friends members is, in most cases, is at least $10 less than non-member prices.  For the Full Series Lecture Series Friends save $60!  Memberships at the supporting level and above confer even more savings, as the enclosed application card explains. And because The Longboat Key Education Center is a not-for-profit school, all membership contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
   

• Friends get credit. Friends membership is also a form of cancellation insurance.  Only members are entitled to apply for credit for registrations they have cancelled.
